1. Activities relating to sales & training of educational and research electronic information products to the academic, chemical and oil & gas sectors throughout the GCC. Scope of the assignment covers universities, research centers, public & private research centers, oil and gas companies and petrochemical companies.
2. Assist with identifying & recommending potential new product requirements to penetrate existing markets, capitalize on business opportunities in new markets by gathering information & evaluating them for market potential.
3.Develop and train educational programs related to the selection & use of information resources for students and researchers in a multidisciplinary science & engineering environment including structural and chemical biology, life sciences, materials science, physics, biochemical engineering & biotechnology.
4. Engage in direct sales and training to researchers in GCC Oil & Gas and petrochemical companies.
5. Collaborate with science and engineering librarians regarding educational programs and digital library services.
6. Exploring potential business opportunities in the entire region in line with company's strategies, policies and standards.
7. Engage in direct sales calls, meetings, presentations & training to prospects and customers.
8. Travel to various locations throughout the GCC, some regional Middle Eastern travel, for customer visits and possible travel to Europe and Asia for supplier meetings and training.
9. Marketing, promotion & building recognition of the Company's brand and the brands of our publishers.
10. Preparing for & supporting company presence at trade shows and conferences,
11. Assists the Director of Sales and Training in building and managing the territory assigned.
