JOB Purpose:
• Provide a professional maintenance/Care service to one of the biggest operator in Afghanistan.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• The first technical owner of VAS issue in terms of TR & TQ;
• To be responsible of the KPI and SLA of VAS;
• To be first responsible of escalation of network critical alarms and problems;
• Emergency handling;
• Work closely with the Technical Managers on Solutions scoping, customizations and realizations.
• Take a lead technical role in the deployment and successful integration of VAS products (such as IN, SMSC, MMSC, Mobile Internet, Voicemail, Black Berry) into customer network environments
• Lead technical upgrades and expansions of VAS products within a customer production environment
• Written, and executed customer acceptance dates
• Leading trouble shooting issues during the integration of VAS deployments, interfacing with multi vendors such IN, Core Network, Billing and other third parties, encompassing: SS7 and IP provision.
• Following VAS protocols including as SMPP, SNMP, SS7, M3UA and Sigtran
• In depth IP knowledge
• Understanding of commonly used protocols like SMPP for VAS node integration.
• Working for continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction.
• preparing all the engineering and acceptance document
• Installing and integrated Mobile Telecoms product into customer environment
• Technical and leadership skills
• Help customers identify their issues, needs and requirements.
• Ability to lead and provide on job training to Mid-Level Engineers
