A leading Trading & Contracting Company based in Kuwait is seeking to recruit a "Legal Consultant" to provide legal services with timely advice on all legal issues. including contracts, commercial, governance and regulations, within formal and lawful satisfactory parameters.
Job Description
1. Oversee, review and draft major contracts, agreements, legal submissions and other legal documents in order to ensure and protect Company's interests.
2. Conduct research work for litigation and non-litigation matters.
3. Recommend actions on various legal matters and assessing contentious and controversial issues.
4. Advise on legal exposure of the company business to minimize any potential liability.
5. Manage external and internal legal resources.
6. Represent the company and ensur the efficient handling and winning of resolutions, negotiations and disputes, where required.
7. Advise and ensur the business is in compliance with the respective legislation and laws.
8. Supervise research and analyze implications of case laws, legislations, and regulatory matters that affect the company.
